Endometriosis clinic
Our endometriosis clinic offers a supportive, one-stop service where your care is guided by fertility experts and, if needed, endometriosis specialists and radiologists. This collaborative approach ensures you receive clear fertility advice and high-quality care in one location.
Our endometriosis clinic services
We’re here to support those living with endometriosis through expert, compassionate fertility care. Whether you’ve just received a diagnosis or have been living with endometriosis for some time, our experienced consultants will guide you through your fertility options with clarity and sensitivity.
Our endometriosis clinic offers:
- A full review of your medical and fertility history
- Pre-consultation analysis of any existing scans or tests
- A detailed pelvic ultrasound scan
- On-the-day review and discussion of results
- Personalised fertility advice and treatment planning
If fertility preservation or treatment is recommended, we’ll create a tailored plan that reflects your unique circumstances. For more complex cases, your care is discussed at a joint meeting between your consultant, an endometriosis specialist and a specialist radiologist, ensuring your treatment remains seamless and comprehensive.
If surgery is recommended, we’ll help coordinate this as part of your care plan and can arrange a smooth referral to our trusted partners at EndoCare.
We also take a holistic approach to your care, combining expert fertility treatment with emotional and wellbeing support throughout your journey.
Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the womb lining grows outside the uterus.
It affects around 1 in 10 women of reproductive age and can cause symptoms such as:
- Painful periods
- Pelvic pain
- Pain during sex
- Fertility challenges
As many as half of women with endometriosis experience difficulties conceiving. This is often due to inflammation, scar tissue or damage to the ovaries or fallopian tubes.
If you’ve been diagnosed with endometriosis or suspect you might have it, seeking early fertility advice is important, especially if you’re considering having children now or in the future. At Bourn Hall, we can help you understand your options and take control of your fertility.
We understand how important it is to feel supported and fully informed when exploring your fertility options, which is why our endometriosis clinic package has been carefully and thoughtfully designed to provide you with comprehensive care and clarity from the very start.
Our endometriosis clinic preparation for treatment package is £810 and includes:
- Consultation with a fertility consultant
- Detailed pelvic ultrasound scan for endometriosis
- AMH blood test to check ovarian reserve
- Semen analysis (refunded if not needed)
If you choose to go ahead with fertility preservation or fertility treatment, we’ll work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan.
If you have endometriosis, we may recommend one or more of the following:
- Ovulation induction – medication to support regular egg release
- IUI (intrauterine insemination) – bringing sperm and egg together at the optimal time
- IVF – fertilisation in our laboratory, followed by embryo transfer
- ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) – a more targeted fertilisation method
- Fertility preservation – freezing your eggs or embryos ahead of treatment or surgery
We’ll explain the benefits and potential risks of each treatment, helping you feel confident and supported in your next steps.
Whether you’ve just received a diagnosis or are further along in your journey, Bourn Hall’s endometriosis clinic offers the care and clarity you need. With decades of fertility experience, our team understands the impact endometriosis can have on your life and is here to support you every step of the way.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions answered. Find clarity on every step of your fertility journey.
We offer comprehensive fertility testing, including hormone blood tests such as anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), and pelvic ultrasound scans. Your consultant will recommend the most appropriate tests based on your symptoms and fertility goals.
Not always. Many women with mild to moderate endometriosis can begin fertility treatment without needing surgery. If surgery is recommended, we’ll refer you to a trusted gynaecological surgeon and coordinate your treatment plan around it.
Yes. Egg freezing may be recommended if you’re not ready to start a family or need surgery that could affect your ovarian function (your ability to release an egg and produce hormones like oestrogen and progesterone). We’ll talk you through your options and explain the process in detail.
IVF and ICSI are often effective options for those with moderate to severe endometriosis. However, your treatment plan will be tailored to your fertility history, age, symptoms and test results.
