Sometimes, life takes an unexpected turn that changes everything. When Laura discovered a lump and was diagnosed with cancer, she and her partner Kevin were faced with an overwhelming mix of emotions: fear, uncertainty, and the sudden pause of their dream of becoming parents.

Before beginning chemotherapy, they made the important decision to freeze their embryos, preserving their chance of a family for the future. It was a moment filled with courage and hope, a belief that one day they would be ready to continue their journey.

After completing treatment and regaining her strength, Laura and Kevin revisited the dream that had been put on hold. Their patience, love, and trust in each other carried them through every step, and today, that hope has a name: Ava.

The staff were really friendly and the presentation was clear about the statistics regarding success rates and live birth rates; their data was very transparent. We came away feeling like we would really be looked after.”
